SUN AMERICAN BANK PRIVACY STATEMENT
We at Sun American Bank acknowledge and respect the privacy and confidentiality of our customers' nonpublic personal information. We want to assure our customers that information communicated electronically is safe and is kept as secure as information obtained in person or by mail.
Historically we have taken special care to protect the privacy and security of confidential customer information and have long been subject to a number of federal and state laws that govern the handling of such customer information. These laws also apply to aspects of the Bank's On-Line Banking Operation.
Our policy for collecting, using, sharing, maintaining accuracy, and safeguarding customer nonpublic information is as follows:

• Individual Retirement Account where we act as custodian or Trustee.
We will tell you the sources for nonpublic personal information we collect on our
customers.
We will tell you what measures we take to secure that information.
We first define some terms.
We, our, and us, means Sun American Bank.
Nonpublic personal information means information about you that we collect in connection with providing a financial product or service to you. Nonpublic personal information does not include telephone directories or government records.
An affiliate is a company we own or control, a company that owns or controls us, and a company that is owned or controlled by the same company that owns or controls us. Ownership does not mean complete ownership, but means owning enough to have control.
A nonaffiliated third party is a company that is not an affiliate of ours.
The Information That We Collect
We collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:
• Information we receive from you on applications or other forms.
• Information about your transactions with us.
• Information about your transactions with nonaffiliated third parties.
• Information from a consumer reporting agency.
• Information may also be obtained from "cookies."
A "cookie" is a small file placed on your hard drive by our Web page server that is retrieved when you log onto our site again. The “cookie" is used to help us serve you better by recognizing you as a customer and to automate your on-line Experience. Sharing Nonpublic Personal Information
At Sun American Bank information that we share to meet your needs is relied on us, and the professional organizations to whom we disclose it, to meet a wide range of financial requirements and to ensure your needs are handled in the most efficient and convenient fashion. We may disclose the following categories of nonpublic personal information about you for both current and former customers:
• Information we receive from you on applications or other forms, such as your name, address, social security number, assets and income;
• Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or other, such as your account balance, payment history, parties to transactions, and credit card usage;
• Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency, such as your creditworthiness and credit history; and
• Information obtained at your request (such as aggregated information from multiple financial providers, for the purpose of developing a financial profile or plan).
Those that we share information with to meet the needs of both current and former customers may be part of the Sun American Bank’s family of companies or they may be third-party companies that are not affiliated with us. In either event, they receive only what they need to know to perform the business function for which they were hired. We may disclose nonpublic personal information about you to the following categories of third parties
• Financial service providers, such as mortgage bankers, securities broker-dealers, credit card providers and insurance agents;
• Non-financial companies, such as retailers, direct marketers, airlines, and publishers, and
• Others such as non-profit organizations.
We may also disclose nonpublic personal information about you to nonaffiliated third parties as permitted by law.
Your information sharing rights outside Sun American Bank’s family of affiliates allow you the opportunity to “opt out” of information we may share as described above. If you prefer that we not share information about you with companies outside Sun American Bank’s family of affiliated companies; you may opt out of these disclosures. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, we are permitted bylaw to share within the Sun American Bank’s family of companies’ information concerning a customer’s account history and experiences with Sun American Bank. Unless you tell us not to, we also may share among Sun American family of companies the nonpublic personal information described above. If you prefer that we do not share nonpublic personal information about you with-in our family of affiliated companies, you may opt out. In order to continue to serve your financial needs to the fullest extent possible, we will continue to share transaction an account experience information, as well as other general information among our family of affiliates as permitted by law. If you do elect to opt out of information sharing, we will process your opt out selection as soon as reasonably practical. Please understand, choosing to opt out of this information sharing may limit opportunities for you to receive product and service information that may interest you. Like all financial institutions, we must employ various third party service providers to provide us with a variety of services and marketing functions. This could include document preparation, maintaining software, providing marketing for our services and products, including joint marketing arrangements with other financial institutions (e.g. insurance companies, securities firms). Consequently, we may disclose the nonpublic personal information (described above) to other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements and/or to on-financial companies and independent contractors for the purpose of servicing your account or to perform marketing or similar services on our behalf or with respect to problems or services we provide.
Occasionally, Sun American Bank sells a particular line of business or branch. Typically, an integral part of that business or branch is its customer database. Sun American Bank reserves the right, in such circumstances, to transfer ownership of the related customer database to the purchaser. In the event of such a transfer, our Privacy Policy will no longer apply to the related customer’s relationships.
Maintaining Personal Information Accuracy
At Sun American Bank we have procedures in place to ensure customer account information is complete, accurate, and processed in a timely manner. However, should you ever believe that our records contain inaccurate or incomplete information about you, please notify us. We will investigate your concerns and correct any inaccuracies.
Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act you have the right to notify us if you; believe we have reported inaccurate information about your account to any Consumer Reporting Agency. Such notices should be sent in writing and include your complete name, current address, social security number, telephone number, account number, type of account, specific item of dispute and the reason why you believe the information reported is in error. Safeguarding Nonpublic Personal Information
At Sun American Bank we restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. These employees have been trained to maintain the nonpublic personal information confidentiality. To ensure that the confidentiality policy is understood it is contained in the Personal Policy Manual and staff is required to attend periodic trainings. All employees' failure to comply with the privacy policy is subject to disciplinary action.
We maintain physical electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information. Customer nonpublic personal information is protected from unauthorized access by persons external to the Bank, by a password chosen by the customer. Thus, the customer's personal information would only be known to a person having in addition to the customer's ID account number(s), the customer's unique password.
Customer's personal information is protected from being altered while in transmission to the Bank by encryption technology known as Secure Sockets Layer {SSL}.
Children's Online Privacy Protection Act
We do not knowingly solicit data from children, and we do not knowingly market to children. We recognize that protecting children’s identities and privacy online is important and that the responsibility to do so rest with both the online industry and with parents.
Other information
We reserve the right to modify or amend this Privacy Policy at any time. If material changes are made, you will be provided with the new privacy Policy and be given another opportunity to opt out. The practices and policies contained in this Privacy Policy replace all previous notices or statements with respect to the same subject. This Privacy Policy, will not apply to relationships with other financial service providers, such as banks, insurance companies, securities broker-dealers, that are not part of Sun American Bank. Their privacy policies will govern how they collect, use and disclose nonpublic personal information.
Opt Out Form
We may share information about your among the Sun American Bank family of companies and/or outside the Sun American Bank family of companies, unless you instruct us otherwise. Sun American Bank offers you the opt out choices listed below concerning this sharing of information. If you decide that you want to choose either or both of these options, please complete the appropriate selection(s) below. Opting out may cause you to no longer receive exclusive offers and other promotional material that maybe of interest to you. We will process your opt out selection as on as reasonably practical. If you have multiple consumer account covered by this Policy. Your opt out choices will also apply to other individuals who are joint account holders. If these individuals have separate accounts, your opt out will apply to those separate accounts.
If you opt out, you may still receive offers with our account statements when you contact
us and in connection with the maintenance and servicing of your account relationship.
Our information Security Procedures
We restrict access to non public personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your non public personal information. If you are a current customer, we will notify you of our Privacy Policy from time to time. If you end your customer relationship with us, we will continue to follow the most current Privacy Policy and practices, but you will not longer receive our notices. We may also disclose all the information we collect as permitted by or required by law to protect against fraud, respond to a subpoena or for regulatory purposes. For example, we may disclose information to law enforcement agencies or Federal banking regulators.
